Building a Page
Last updated August 26, 2026
This guide covers the “Build Your Page” tab in the Page Designer, where you assemble the page’s actual content by stacking widgets. Widgets render in order in the live preview and on the published page. Example shown: the Keystone Lot Summer Promo page, built with a Text with Styling widget, a Separator, a Link, and a Pages Link.
Step 1: Click “Add Widget” to open a menu of available widget types: Separator (visual spacing), Link (a clickable link to any URL), Form (a contact/input form - requires at least one existing Form in your organization), Text with Styling (styled text content), Advertisement (marked “coming soon” and disabled), Image (an image widget), and Pages Link (a link to another page in your organization). A dedicated “Add Link” shortcut button skips straight to the Link widget.
Step 2: Text with Styling opens an editor with a rich-text Content field, plus Font Size, Alignment, Weight, Text Color, and Background Color controls. On Keystone Lot Summer Promo, this widget holds the main promotional paragraph, center-aligned.
Step 3: Separator adds visual spacing between widgets, with Style (e.g. Line), Stroke Width, Line Color, and Top/Bottom Padding options.
Step 4: Link adds a clickable button/link with Link Text, URL, an “Open in new tab” toggle, a Display Type (Text Only, With Icon, or With Image), and an optional Analytics Tag (Tag Category + Tag) to categorize clicks for reporting.
Step 5: Pages Link adds a link to another page within your organization. Fill in a Page Link Title, then use Select Page to search and choose the target page (a “View Page Details” link appears once selected), plus the same Display Type and Analytics Tag options as the Link widget.
Step 6: Click “Save Widget” to add the widget to the page (or “Cancel” to discard it). Saved widgets appear as a stacked list, each with its own Edit and Delete buttons and a drag handle for reordering. The live preview panel on the right updates immediately as widgets are added.
## Widget Types Reference
Every widget type available in the Add Widget menu is documented below, including the ones not used on the Keystone Lot Summer Promo example page.
Separator — A simple visual divider between widgets. Fields: Style (e.g. Line), Stroke Width, Line Color, and Top/Bottom Padding. No text content of its own; used on the example page to break up the promotional paragraph from the buttons below it.
Link — A clickable button linking to any URL. Fields: Link Text, URL, an “Open in new tab” toggle, Display Type (Text Only, With Icon, or With Image), and an optional Analytics Tag with Tag Category options of Payment, Validations, Forms, Upsell, Information, and Reputation Management, plus a specific Tag within that category. Used on the example page for the “Sign Up for Summer Savings” button.

Form — Embeds an existing contact/input form on the page. Fields: Form Title, Select Form (a dropdown listing Forms already configured for the organization elsewhere in Dash), Display Type, and Analytics Tag. The Select Form dropdown had no options to choose from during this walkthrough since no Forms existed in the organization yet, so this widget could not be saved onto the example page.
Text with Styling — Adds a block of styled text content. Fields: a rich-text Content field, plus Font Size, Alignment, Weight, Text Color, and Background Color controls. This is the widget used for the main promotional paragraph on the example page (see Step 2 above for its screenshot), so it is not repeated here.
Advertisement — Listed in the Add Widget menu but explicitly marked “coming soon.” Its editor opens with an Advertisement Title, Description, and Display Type, but a notice reading “Advertisement widget is coming soon” replaces the save-ready state, so it cannot actually be configured or saved yet.

Image — Displays a standalone image with a title and description. Fields: Image Title, Description, and a Widget Image upload area. Clicking the upload area invokes your device’s native file picker, which could not be completed in this walkthrough (see the “Setting Up a Page” and “Designing a Page” guides for the same limitation), so no image file was attached in this example.
Pages Link — Adds a link to another page within your organization. Fields: Page Link Title, Select Page (a searchable dropdown of existing pages, with a “View Page Details” link appearing once a page is selected), Display Type, and Analytics Tag. Used on the example page for “View More Keystone Lot Promotions,” linked to an existing unrelated page for demo purposes since no other Keystone-specific pages existed (see Step 5 above for its screenshot).
Known Issues:
- Add Widget and Add Link dialogs occasionally opened the wrong editor (e.g. an existing widget’s Edit dialog instead of a new one) or stacked two dialogs on top of each other when clicked in quick succession. Waiting a moment for each dialog to fully render before clicking the next option resolved this reliably.
- Advertisement widgets are visible in the Add Widget list but are disabled and marked “coming soon.”
- Form widgets require at least one existing Form in the organization; none were available at the time of testing, so this widget type could not be demonstrated on Keystone Lot Summer Promo.
- Image widgets require selecting a file via your device’s native file picker, which was not demonstrated in this worked example for the same reason as the Design tab’s Logo/Header/Background images.
